Troubleshooting

Problem
The Start-Button
flashes perman-
ently and the tea machine does not
start up.
All 4 LEDs

The LED "Carry out cleaning"
does not go out.
The LED "Carry out descaling"
does not go out.
Only water (and no tea) is dispensed
from the tea machine.
In the event that the lid foil was not removed, the capsule has already been in-
serted into the machine and this has been noticed before the brewing process
has started.
The tea machine ejects the capsules
directly after being inserted. Tea
dispensing is not possible.
Possible cause
The capsule compartment
open when switching on/starting up.

The cleaning programme was cancel-
led/was not completed.
The descaling programme was can-
celled/was not completed.
The lid foil has not been removed
from the capsule.
The cleaning or descaling program-
me was cancelled/was not comple-
ted.
Solution
is
Close the capsule compartment

Press and hold the Start-Button
for approx. 3 seconds until the red
LEDs
,

flashing. The Start-Button
and the tea machine restarts.
Restart the cleaning programme and
allow it to be completed.
Restart the descaling programme
and allow it to be completed.
Remove the lid foil and reinsert the
capsule.
Press and hold the Start-Button
for approx. 3 seconds or open the
capsule compartment
sule will be ejected without brewing
(as long as the brewing process has
not yet started).
Check to see whether both LEDs for
"Carry out cleaning"
descaling"
show a continuous
light. Then restart the corresponding
programme. Alternatively - rinse the
brewing chamber (see page 31).
