PRODUCT INFORMATION
GS950 Eco Series
ECO-FRIENDLY GIGABIT WEBSMART SWITCHES
The GS950 Series of eco-friendly WebSmart switches demonstrates
the Allied Telesis commitment to environmentally friendly processes
and products, minimizing power consumption through the use of a high
efficiency power supply and a low power chipset.
With a low typical power consumption,
and a reduction in power during after-
work hours — as well as other power
saving features included as standard —
the GS950 Series are truly "eco-friendly."
Not only does this help the planet by
reducing the carbon footprint of each
switch, it also lowers the Total Cost of
Ownership, as the switch costs less to
run and boasts improved reliability.
With its suite of power saving features,
the eco-friendly GS950 Series reduces
power consumption more than 25%
over non-eco-friendly models.
Future-Proof
With the depletion of IPv4 address
space, IPv6 is rapidly becoming a
mandatory requirement for many
government and enterprise customers.
To meet this need, now and into the
future, the GS950 Series supports IPv6.

High Performance

The GS950 Eco Series combines the
simplicity of unmanaged switches
with the performance and reliability
of managed switches, providing a
cost-effective solution to integrate
management at the edge of the
network. The GS950 Series provides
key features using the simple web-based
management function, such as port-
based VLANs, IEEE 802.1p QoS, port
trunking/link aggregation, port mirroring,
priority queues and IEEE 802.1x security
support. With support for up to 8K

MAC addresses and a 4MB packet
buffer, the GS950 Eco Series is an ideal
option for integrating management into
a network solution.
