After connection to the power supply, or after a power failure, the PIR sensor will be functional

approx. 10 seconds after its automatic self-test. If movement is detected by the PIR sensor after it is

functional, it will turn on the light fitting or move up min- illuminance level to max- level. The light

fitting will be dimmed when the movement stops and the delay time set on the TIME potentiometer

has been reached.

The PIR sensor's green LED glows dimly when the sensor is ready to operate but has not been triggered.

When the sensor is triggered by movement the red LED comes on. If the device detects a fault during

the self-test, after connection to the power supply, the red LED flashes alternately brightly and dimly.

5. ADJUSTMENTS

Before any adjustments can be made the diffuser must be removed. Adjustments should be made

using a small screwdriver, the appropriate potentiometer being gently turned. The marked settings

are only an approximate guide and are not precise (see pic. 4). The settings made at the factory are

the TIME horizontal setting (approx. 1 minutes), the LUX max setting (infinity) and the SENS horizontal

setting (set to the max. side).

Hold the LUX - potentiometer to max - position (infinity).

Factory setup of parameters:

MIN- light level 5%

MAX- light level 100%

If there is no need to change factory setup kindly move on section 5.2!

By changing parameters you may change factory setup (factory setup can also restored):

SENS- potentiometer: MIN- light level 5%

LUX- potentiometer: MAX- light level 100%

TIME- potentiometer: MIN- glow time: always ON

1. Turn the potentiometer from its extreme position to another extreme position two times in 3

seconds, for example from MAX

PXA53 turns red and green LEDs on for 1 second and then turns both LEDs off; now PXA53

is on a mode where parameters can be changed

2. Turn the potentiometer to one or the other extreme positions, to MIN or MAX, and hold the

potentiometer there for 3 seconds

PXA53 saves the chosen parameter and turns red and green LEDs on for 1 second and then

turns itself to normal mode .

In parallel connection it´s enough to change only TIME and/or LUX- potentiometer in one luminaire,

although it´s recommend to made change in every luminaires.

Whith SENS- potentiometer MIN- light level must be done in every luminaires!
