To install the S4048–ON or S3048–ON diagnostic package on your system, follow these steps.
NOTE:
Before you begin, go to
support access account to download the package.

Boot your system to ONIE.

Enter the onie-discovery-stop command to stop the ONIE discovery mode (ONIE:/ # onie-discovery-stop).

Configure the management interface to download the image using ONIE:/ # ifconfig eth0 xx.xx.xx.xx/xx up. Also
ping the server/network IP address.
ONIE:/ # ifconfig eth0 xx.xx.xx.xx/xx up
ONIE:/ # ping -c4 xx.xx.xx.xx
