Installation Instructions

The washer must only be installed a Miele

authorized service technician.

Installation

A concrete floor is the most suitable surface

for the washer.

^ The machine must be level and secured.

^ Do not install the machine on a soft floor

covering otherwise the drum movement

will cause the machine to walk.

^ Do not install the washer on carpeting.

Carpeting will block the washer's air vents.

^ When installing the toe kick, the machine

must be secured with clamps.

A concrete floor site is recommended. If this

is not available, contact Miele to purchase a

steel base.

Refer to the enclosed installation diagram.

To prevent damage, do not install this

machine in a room exposed to frost or free-

zing temperatures.

Once the machine is in its final position the

red-marked shipping struts "A", "B" and "C"

must be removed.

Save the shipping struts for future use. They

must be refitted if the machine is moved.

Removing the front shipping strut

To remove the front shipping strut, unscrew

the 3 SW 13 screws and the 2 lower torx

screws from the front panel.
