Installation

Attaching the hood and motor

assembly to the wall

The chimney and chimney extension

are attached to the wall using 2 retain-

ing plates. The motor assembly is at-

tached separately using 4 screws.

To layout the loctaions for the plates

and motor assembly:

^ Draw a vertical line, centered on the

cooktop, on the wall where the hood

will be installed.

^ Mark the location of the 2 motor as-

sembly support screws S + 10

(260 mm) above the cooktop, and

" (125 mm) to the right and left

of the centerline.

^ Layout the location of the lower re-

taining plate screw directly on the

centerline, S + 19

above the cooktop.

^ Hold the upper retaining plate flush

against the ceiling so that the center-

line passes through the notch on its

lower edge. Making sure the plate is

level, mark the location of the 2

mounting screws.
