Safety regulations prohibit the fitting
of this cooker hood over a solid fuel
stove.
For safety reasons, the distance S
between the top of the cooker/hob
and the bottom of the cooker hood
should be at least
– 365 mm above electric/gas cook-
ers and hobs.

When deciding dimension S, ensure
that the minimum specified safety dis-
tance between the cooker/hob and the
cooker hood is maintained. If the hood
is fitted flush to the ceiling, make sure
that the height of cooker / hob + S + H
is equal to but not greater than the floor
to ceiling height of the room.
