Operation
Glass edge feature lighting ]
^ Press the control for the glass edge
feature lighting ] to switch it on. This
can be switched on and off
independently from the fan or the hob
lighting.
To change the colour of the
glass edge feature lighting £
You can change the colour of the glass
edge lighting to any colour you like.
The lighting is pre-set to be white.
^ Switch on the glass edge feature
lighting ].
^ By repeatedly pressing the Colour
change control £, you can scroll
through the six pre-set standard
colour settings as follows:
a White
b Green
c Red
d Blue
e Rapid colour change
The colour of the lighting changes
continuously. The colours rotate
once every minute. Initially, the
Colour change symbol flashes
rapidly.
f Slow colour change
As with e, but the colours rotate
once every 15 minutes. Initially, the
Colour change symbol flashes
slowly.

You have the option of saving one
favourite colour to memory.
To select the colour:
^ Select the rapid or slow colour
change (colour setting e oder f).
The colours start to rotate.
^ When the colour required appears,
press and hold the Colour change
control £ until the glass edge
feature lighting flashes three times.
This colour is then saved in an
additional colour setting g.
^ It can be selected at any time until
you decide to save a different colour
in the same way.
^ To switch it off, press the glass edge
feature lighting button ]. The lighting
will switch off after a slight hesitation.
When the glass edge lighting is next
switched on, the most recently selected
colour setting a to g will come on
again.
Safety switch-off
Should the cooker hood be left on, the
fan will switch off automatically after 10
hours. The lighting will remain on.
Pressing the On/Off control s will
switch the fan back on again.
