How to dry correctly
Hints on saving energy
Make sure that your laundry has been
thoroughly spun, at the highest appro-
priate spin speed, before drying. This
will save drying time and energy.
Load the full amount of laundry, ac-
cording to the programme chosen,
(see "Programme chart") for the most
economic drying related to the size of
load.
As far as possible sort fabrics ac-
cording to type of fibre, and amount
of residual moisture.
This will help towards an even drying
result.
Ensure the room is well ventilated.
Load the washing and switch
on the machine
Insert the plug into the socket and
switch on.
Fasten duvet covers etc to prevent
small items from being rolled inside
them.
Torn or well-worn items with a filling,
such as pillows or padded jackets,
must not be put into the tumble
dryer If the filling spills out it
becomes a fire hazard.
Press the "|-ON/0-OFF" button.
Press the "Door" button and open the
door.

Load the laundry very loosely into
the drum.
Make sure there is no wash deter-
gent dispenser folded in among the
washing.
Underloading is uneconomical.
Overloading may cause unnecess-
ary wear and tear, and give a disap-
pointing drying result.
Important: Please check that items
of laundry cannot be trapped by the
door as this will cause damage to
the fabric.
Shut the door with a light swing. Do
not press shut.
