What to do if . . .
. . . the appliance does not get cool.
^ Check whether the appliance has
been switched on. The temperature
display must be lit up.
^ Check that the plug is correctly
inserted into the socket and switched
on.
^ Check that the fuse is not defective
and that the mains fuse has not
tripped. If it has, contact Miele.
. . . the temperature in the refrigerator
is too low.
^ Set the required temperature.
^ The SuperCool function is still
switched on. SuperCool switches
itself off after 6 hours.

. . . the compressor is switching in
too frequently and for too long.
^ Check whether the ventilation gaps
have been covered over or become
dusty.
^ Check whether the metal grille (heat
exchanger) at the back of the
appliance has become too dusty.
^ The appliance door is being opened
frequently.
^ Check that the door has been closed
properly.
. . . the interior lighting in the
refrigerator section is not working.
^ Is the temperature display lit up?
If it is, the lamp is defective:
^ Disconnect the appliance from the
mains. Switch off at the wall and
withdraw the plug from the socket, or
disconnect the mains fuse or remove
the screw-out fuse in countries where
this is applicable.

and unhook it at the back.
