WATER PITCHER FILTER
STANDARD, IDEAL, LINE
GB US
OPERATING MANUAL
By applying the unique composite sorption material AQUALEN™ in combination with
the best activated carbon, the pitcher filter with the AQUAPHOR B15 (Standard)
securely and irreversibly entraps not only organic compounds, iron and heavy metals
and other types of harmful impurities, as well as removes redundant water hardness
and prevents scaling. Modification of AQUALEN™ fiber containing silver is applied for
suppression of bacterial growth (patents of the USA № 6,299,771) .
Please, check the setting as follows:
Water pitcher filter
Operating manual (certificate)
The pitcher's funnels have the following volumes: Standard – 1.1 l, Ideal – 1.4 l,
Line – 1.2 l.
Follow procedures of replacing the cartridge (Fig. 1) for optimum cleaning results.
Timely replace cartridge of your water pitcher filter.
The water purifier is equipped with a conventional lid. In order to fill the funnel with
water remove the lid and pour water into the funnel. Depending on the pitcher model
the pitcher can be equipped with a lid «SLIDER» or «FLIP-TOP», which allows the
consumer to fill the pitcher, without having to remove the lid completely.
Cover style SLIDER: To fill the funnel water slide valve in the lid of the pitcher
(Fig. 2).
Cover style FLIP-TOP: Click on the button and bring the center of the lid to a
vertical position (Figure 3). Now you can easily fill the water pitcher.
MECHANICAL COUNTER RESOURCE CARTRIDGE
The mechanical counter built into the pitcher lid clearly shows the remaining
lifespan of the pitcher cartridge. The counter will allow you to promptly replace the
filter cartridge. The counter is triggered each time you open the lid of the pitcher.
USE OF THE COUNTER:
When installing a new filter cartridge, turn the counter arrow to the 'beginning'
position which corresponds to 100% resource filtration capacity (Fig. 4).
During use of the counter, the arrow will rotate counter clockwise and indicate the
remaining resource of the cartridge (in percent). When the arrow points to the red
segment, the cartridge needs to be replaced (Fig. 5).
ELECTRONIC COUNTER RESOURCE CARTRIDGE
The smart counter, which is built into the pitcher lid (Figure 6), provides two
methods to determine when your cartridge should be replaced: volume of water usage
and duration of time. The meter automatically determines the number of filtered water
and alerts to replace the cartridge in due time to the end of its resource. However,
under normal usage conditions for your pitcher filter, the cartridge life is 60 days at
which time the electronic counter will inform you that the cartridge should be replaced.
USE OF THE COUNTER:
1. Turn on the counter when installing a new filtering cartridge. Press and hold the
RESET button until the frame on the display flashes 5 times. The counter will be
ready for operation when all 9 indicator squares appear on the screens box with a
flashing dot in the lower right corner.
2. Every time you open the lid and the funnel is filled with water the counter
records the decrease in resource`s filtration capacity. The filtration capacity indicator
squares will disappear until the filtration cartridge is fully exhausted. When all the
squares of indication disappear you need to replace the filtering cartridge.
3. Reset the counter after replacing the filtering cartridge. Hold the RESET button
until the box on the screen flashes 5 times and all nine indicator squares appear on
the display alternately.
4. Press and hold the RESET button within 15 seconds to turn off the counter.
5. Remember, at the end of expiration the counters are to be disposed in
accordance with existing regulations and the rules in your country.
ATTENTION!
Depending on the quantity of impurities in water, the cartridge resource can vary.
Remember that the counter helps to define remaining resource of the replacement
cartridge regarding removal of dissolved impurities from the water corresponding to
the Sanitary Regulations. If water doesn't correspond to the sanitary regulations, there
are a lot of mechanical impurities (sediment, increased turbidity, etc.) mechanical
clogging of the cartridge can occur earlier than the normal lifespan of the cartridge.
OPERATING RECOMMENDATIONS
Note: Rinse the pitcher, cover and funnel with warm water adding soft cleanser
before application and each replacement of the cartridge.
Use only fresh-filtered water.
The water purifier is applied for post-treatment of tap water. In case of non-tap
water purification, the filtered water should be boiled.
In case you haven't used the water purifier for a long period of time (for example,
during a vacation) discard the product water in your pitcher and filter two additional
pitchers of water before use.
Notice! Your pitcher box includes convenient antiskid pads. Remove them from the
packaging and glue them into the special slots on the bottom of the pitcher.
The volume measuring scale is provided for additional convenience during the
pitcher application.
Please do not drop your water pitcher. Do not set it near heat producing
appliances not expose it to freezing temperatures.
Please note! Aquaphor's " Line " and " Ideal " pitcher models come with
ergonomic non-grip stands. The stands are enclosed in the packaging and should
be placed into the dedicated slots at the bottom of your pitcher.
