Description
Management server FICON fault not sending field
replaceable unit (FRU) change notification to EFCM.
Known bad SFP reported incorrectly in Equip Check if
plugged into QPM.
F-port did not always login after power on.
SNMP reported duplicate traps on port card insertion.
Multicast packets were erroneously sent to Ethernet
switch.
CTP processor fault event 411 sometimes occurred after
CTP reset.
In a FICON environment, when a QPM was swapped
for an XPM, or an XPM was swapped for a QPM, the
prohibit dynamic connectivity masks (PDCM) of the
affected ports were not cleared, and PDCMs could be
configured via HAFM.
Attempts to activate a large zone set through OSMS
when common transport (CT) authentication was enabled
occasionally was not be successful.

Description
False optics mismatch error was sometimes reported
when firmware was upgraded to 09.00.00 or 09.02.00
If a device sent an OSMS Get Attached Port_Name List
(GAPNL) request to a port name that did not exist in the
fabric, the information unit (IU) buffer did not release,
and after repeated requests would eventually deplete the
IU memory. When the IU buffer pool was depleted, the
fabric could segment. This was specific to this OSMS
command and would occur only if the target device did
not exist or did not respond to the command.
Vital Product Data (VPD) containing the CTP serial
number and CTP part number was being deleted after
inserting a spare. This information is for electronic
viewing purposes only and did not impact operation of
the CTP.
IP ping over FC was not working.
Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) AMS1000 storage had
problems logging in intermittently.
SNMP get IP command failed on Sphereon 4400 and
returns 127.0.0.1.
Storage devices needed to register as FC-4 type in order
to boot across an Edge Switch 2/24.
IML/IPL was required to increment the Power-on hours for
the command line interface (CLI) command SHOW FRU.
Event 421, Informational Event, did not correctly identify
the firmware version for Sphereon 4400, 4700.
HAFM was unable to manage switches after firmware
upgrade due to the gateway address to the switch IP
address changing.
