Viewing Recorded Video from an Axon Camera
This procedure does not store data on the mobile device. The mobile device can only view videos currently
stored on the paired Axon camera.
1. Ensure that the Axon camera is turned on and paired to your iPhone.
2. On your iPhone, open the Axon View app.
Axon View connects to the Axon camera.
3. Wait until Axon View shows live video from the camera.
4. If the "To enable streaming" message appears, perform the steps in Reconnecting to an Axon
Body 2 with Wi-Fi.
5. In the upper right of the screen, tap
The Evidence List screen shows a list of video thumbnails.
6. Scroll to the thumbnail of the video that you want to view and then tap it.
The Evidence Review screen shows the media player in addition to metadata about the video, such
as recording date and time and the ID, Title, and Category fields.
7. Tap the video to play it.
Adjusting Audio Prompt Volume
During normal operation, Axon cameras emit beeping sounds, called audio prompts, and vibrations to notify
you of the system status. You may wish to adjust the volume of or turn off the audio prompts for your camera.
You can adjust camera audio prompt volume using Axon View (if your camera is paired with Axon View)
Adjusting Audio Prompt Volume using Axon View:
1. Ensure your Axon Body 2 camera is turned on and paired with your mobile device.
2. Open the Axon View app on your mobile device.
3. Tap (Setting icon) in the upper-left side of the screen to go to the Settings.
4. Under the Camera section, tap Camera Volume. The camera beeps once at the volume that you
tapped, or if you tapped Off, the camera does not beep.
5. To choose a different volume, repeat these steps
Turning On or Off Camera Lights, Sounds, and Vibrations
(Stealth Mode)
For some situations, you may wish to turn off the LED lights, sounds (audio prompts), and vibrations (haptic
feedback) on your Axon Body 2 camera. Turning off all the indicators and notifications is also known as stealth
mode. There are several ways you can enter and exit stealth mode. You can use the Battery Status button, Axon
View (if your camera is paired with Axon View). Additionally, You can change the LED lights, audio prompt
volume, or vibration settings separately using Axon View.
Entering Stealth Mode using the Battery Status button:
Press and hold the Battery Status button for 10 seconds.
Exiting Stealth Mode using the Battery Status button:
Press and hold the Battery Status button for 10 seconds.
Entering and Exiting Stealth Mode using Axon View:
1. Ensure your Axon Body 2 camera is turned on and paired with your iPhone.
