Maintain the machine with care. Keep the

machine clean for better and safe performance.

Check the cable regularly. Remove the plug from

the socket before doing maintenance work on the

machine. Fit Creint parts and accessories.

Grinding wheels: maintenance and

replacement.

Maintenance

Grinding wheels wear away. To prolong the lifetime

dress the wheels from time to time. By using a

hand dresser. Use the dresser to: give the wheel

a neatly rounded shape again. This prevents

vibration. After being dressed, the grinding wheels

will grind better because new, sharp granules will

be released. Remove paint and oil remnants left

behind on the wheel after grinding tools. Paint

or oil remnants will clog up the rough surface.

If tools are grinded of a metal other than for

which the wheel is intended, the granules will be

smoothed off instead of broken out. Dressing is

recommended.

Replacement

If the grinding wheel diameter has become too

small because of use, the wheel needs to be

replaced.

Mind the following. Preferably fit new Creint

grinding wheels. At both sides of the grinding

wheel a blotter must be fixed mentioning:

brand/ dimension/grit/ bond/max speed rpm.

And also the article number. Measured at the

circumference of the wheel. The maximum radial

oscillation of a grinding wheel may not exceed

0,3mm and 0,3mm in axial direction. Store

grinding wheels in a dry place. Always remove the

plug from the socket before replacing a grinding

wheel. Do a 'ringing' test before fitting a new

grinding wheel. A light tap on the wheel must give

a clear ringing sound. Fit flanges as fixed on the

Creint grinder.

After fixing new grinding wheels, test them by

running in for 5 minutes. Do this test only with the

wheel guard and wheel guard cover fitted and

with grinding support and spark arrestor with eye

shield in the correct position. Allow the machine to

run without load.

The Creint professional with steel wire brush

Fix only Creint steel wire brushes. The special

metal core in this brush fits specisely on the

grinder shaft while the flanges make it complete.

This ensures safe working. Creint brushes are

suitable for use within the wheel guard and wheel

guard cover, which is absolutely necessary and

obliged. Do not exceed the maximum dimensions

of the brushes. Always wear safety spectacles.

When using a steel wire brush on the machine,

delete the grinding support to avoid that the work

piece can come between brush and support.

Maintenance

The Creint grinder is virtually maintenance-free.

The bearings are closed and self-lubricating.

After intensive and prolonged use it is best to

take off the wheel guard cover and remove any

grindings and dust with a soft brush.

Warranty

Every Creint grinder is carefully inspected before

leaving the factory. Creint gives a motor warranty

of 5 years. This warranty does not cover inexpert

use or careless treatment. The machine warranty is

1 year except on wearing items.

If the grinder gets defect within 1 year following

conditions must be respected. Only apply at one

of our official service centers. No other parties

than Creint partners have made or attempted to

make repairs. Dated invoice serves as a warranty.

Transport damage is beyond the scope of the

liability of Creint.
