to double feed.
Initial Actions
Same kind of paper is loaded in bin
Ensure that the DSD sensor (CF-Q32) is clean.

CF-206 DSD Sensor Double Feed
Fault Code indicates that during Run, the DSD sensor (Q30), stopped the system due to double
feed.
Initial Actions
•
Ensure that the DSD Sensor is correctly calibrated.
•
Ensure that the Paper path / DSD sensor (Q30) is clean.
Procedure
WARNING
Switch off the Main Power Switch and disconnect the Main Power Cord
before disconnecting, removing or replacing any electrical components.
Did the Cover Feeder actually feed more than one sheet?

Running heavy covers and / or variable images on the covers can cause "false" double detection. Go to the Tools
menu and turn the DSD function Off then run the job again.Leave DSD Detection Off and instruct customer that
they need to turn it Off when running heavy stock and / or variable print on the covers.
Increase Air Separation under Tools menu on the UI.
Inside Cover Feeder: Check Q30, Q31, Q32, Q38, M15, M16, M17 and M18 (
Check for mechanical bindings, broken, missing or loose parts.
CF-207 DSD Sensor Not activated when Paper Position Sensor
(Q32) is activated
Fault Code indicates that Q30 is Not activated when Paper Position Sensor (Q32) is activated

Ensure that the DSD Sensor is correctly calibrated.
•
Ensure that the Paper path / DSD sensor (Q30) is clean.
•
Make sure that Q32 is clean, installed and connected correctly.
