USING THE APPLIANCE
Fit the HEPA filter into the dust tank, then turn it right to lock it in place.
1.
Place the dust tank on the main body and turn it right to lock it.
2.
The foot brush will fit the bottom on the main body and click into place.
3.
Fit the telescopic pole into the top of the main body until it clicks into place.
4.
Plug the appliance into a socket and press the ON/OFF button. Be careful not to trap the cable under
furniture or doors etc.
Emptying the Dust Tank
1.
Press the on / off button to turn off the appliance.
2.
Unplug the power cord.
3.
Use one hand to hold the air inlet, and use another hand to hold the handle of the vacuum cleaner while
pressing the dust tank release switch. Pull the hand that is holding the air inlet up to separate the dust tank
from the vacuum cleaner.
4.
Pull the dust tank upwards to remove it; do not pull it directly away from the vacuum cleaner.
CLEANING THE APPLIANCE
It is important to clean your filters regulary. Failure to do so will lead to loss of suction in the
appliance. Follow these simple steps to keep your vacuum working efficiently.
1.
Turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning or maintaining.
2.
Wipe the external surface of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth and allow to dry thoroughly.
3.
Do not use any detergents or harsh cleaning agents to clean any parts of the appliance.
4.
Empty the dust tank by taking off the foot brush and pressing the release button.
5.
Ensure that the HEPA filter is taken out regularly cleaned. You should try to get as much dut from this after
each use and then clean the filter in water as often as possible.
6.
Replace dust container back onto the appliance body ready for use.
If the sponge filter is heavily soiled it can be rinsed with warm water. You will need to allow
at least 24 hours drying time before using the appliance again.
If the vacuum cleaner has lost suction or is not picking up small items,
this indicates that the filters need cleaning. This needs to be done on a
regular basis to keep your vacuum cleaner in tip-top condition.
