Checking traffic incidents in your area
Get an overview of the traffic situation in your area by using the map. To find local inci-
dents and their details, do the following:
1. Tap Browse map in the Main Menu.
The map browser screen is shown.
2. Tap the traffic button in the status bar to show traffic incidents on the map.
3. If the map does not show your location, tap this button to center the map on
your current location.
The map shows traffic incidents in the area.
4. Tap on any traffic incident to get more information.
The incident viewer opens and shows you detailed information about the incident you
chose.
Traffic incidents
Traffic incidents are displayed as symbols on the Driving View and the traffic incident
panel. There are two type of symbols:
• Symbols shown in a red square are incidents that Traffic can help you to avoid.
• Symbols shown in a triangle are weather-related symbols and for information only. You
cannot use the Traffic service to avoid them.
