5 Click Add Adapter.
6 In the Select Network Adapter window, select
Have Disk.
7 Insert EtherDisk diskette 2 in drive A, and in the
Insert Disk window, click OK.
8 In the Select OEM Option box, select
3Com Fast EtherLink Adapter (3C905B).
9 Click OK.
10 Select the Protocol tab.
11 Select the appropriate protocol for your network.
12 In the Network Settings window, click Close.
If you are prompted for network information, enter
the information supplied by your MIS department.
Windows NT prompts you to reboot.
13 Click Yes to restart your PC.
The driver installation is complete.
Confirming Installation
To confirm that the 3C905B-TX NIC is properly installed in a
PC running Windows NT version 4.0:
1 Double-click the Network icon in the Control Panel.
2 Click the Adapters tab.
3Com Fast EtherLink XL Adapter should appear in the list.
If it does not appear, see Chapter 4 in the user guide for
troubleshooting information.
