4237 EG units with Enamel Black Firebacks ONLY

Remove the rear log shelf. Loosen the 2 screws that secure the shelf to the unit, slide the shelf backward slightly

and lift up to remove. After the rear fireback is in place, replace the log shelf.

Ceramic Firebacks:

Place the lower rear fireback in place.

While holding it in place, place the

upper, rear fireback on top of it

(continue to hold both in place).

Enamel Black Firebacks:

Place the rear fireback in place.

All Firebacks:

Replace the side fireback clips,

followed by the upper fireback clips to

secure the rear fireback(s).
