Adjusting Primary Force Setting
Follow these steps to adjust the primary force adjustment setting. For fine-adjustment of seat collapse
force, see the next step. These steps must be done with the assistance of the wheelchair user in order
to ensure proper adjustment and function of the device.

WARNING: Do not attempt to adjust force while the wheelchair or lift seat is occupied.
a. Access the force adjustment by removing the
bottom strap of the front cover, as shown.

b. Remove hairpin from the round pin and then
remove the round pin so that the adjustment
lock swings freely. (figures 19a and 19b)
