Module programming

Refer to "LED diagnostics and troubleshooting" on page 13 for more information and for troubleshooting purposes.

To connect the module:

Please ensure that the vehicle is in a safe location and cannot move forward during

programming. For vehicles equipped with a manual transmission, make sure the gearshift

lever is in the neutral position.

Connect all the harnesses to the Directed Digital Solutions, EXCEPT the 12-pin main power

harness.

Connect the 12-pin main power harness, and wait until the LED turns ON solid red.

To use this firmware as convenience only, you can skip the bypass by pressing the

programming button 5 times.

With ONLY one key inside the vehicle

Press on the Start/Stop button (PTS) twice to turn the ignition ON ("RUN" illuminates on

Start/Stop switch). The LED will flashes orange slowly.

If transponder programming was skipped, the LED turns ON solid orange for 3 seconds

then shuts off once the module is successfully programmed without bypass. Press the PTS

button once to switch the vehicle OFF and proceed to step 10.

Note: If 2 keys are present, the module will program but will not Remote Start.

Press on the Start/Stop button (PTS) once more to turn the ignition OFF.

Remove the module from the vehicle and reconnect it to your computer. The Directechs

web site will automatically recognize that you are moving onto the second phase of the

programming sequence.

Select the method and click on Submit Key2Go Request.

Once the configuration is completed, reconnect the module. The LED turns solid green for 3

sec. then OFF.

Pair remotes (if applicable). For information on how to pair a specific remote, please

refer to its corresponding owner documentation, which can be found inside the product

packaging of the complete system or on www.directechs.com.*

DATA Tach: Firmware using DATA Tach, the tachometer is preprogrammed for the vehicle

and no further action is required. For instructions on how to adjust tach or use Virtual tach,

refer to "Initialize Virtual Tach" (not needed with hardwired or data tach applications), see

page 16.

Hardwire Tach: Firmware using the Violet/White Hardwire Tach input will require

programming. For instructions on how to program or adjust tach or use Virtual tach, refer

to "Initialize Virtual Tach" (not needed with hardwired or data tach applications), see page

16.

You have successfully completed the module programming sequence.
