DCM

IPMI
Intelligent Platform Management Interface, an open standard hardware management interface specification, which defines the particular protocol for
communication with embedded management subsystem.
BMC
Baseboard Management Controller, the industrial standard IPMI protocol which provide IPMI interface externally.
DMZ
Demilitarized Zone, a buffer zone created between the a non-secure system and a secure system, in order to solve the problem that the external
network cannot get access to the internal network after the installation of the firewall.
Node Manager
Intelligent Node Management, a power management technology embedded in the Intel server chipset, including v1.5 and v2.0 versions.
NTP

The difference between the power consumption of all managed server devices running under empirical power and the power consumption of all server
devices under actual running.
Virtual Electricity Meter
As opposed to the actual electricity meter, the virtual electricity meter for devices provided by Smart Grid can show real-time power consumption in the
software graphically.
