Product Description
Battery Charger for Ni-MH R6/R03 batteries.
The charger is compatible with all electricity networks rated 100-240 V and automatically recognises
which voltage is being used. It is therefore ideal for using in different countries.
Safety
•
Read the instruction manual carefully before use.
•
The charger is only intended to be used with Ni-MH rechargeable batteries. Attempts to re-
charge batteries other than those listed may result in damage to both the charger and property.
•
Never expose the charger to moisture or rain. The charger is only intended for indoor use.
•
Always disconnect the charger from the power supply before cleaning or when it is not in use.
•
Never use the charger if it has been damaged. If the charger is broken, take it to your local re-
tailer.
•
Do not open the casing. Certain parts inside the casing carry dangerous currents. Touching
these can give you an electrical shock.
•
The charger should only be repaired by qualified service personnel.
•
Remove the batteries from the charger before recycling.
Use
Note!
•
The batteries are not charged when the product is sold, and need to be charged before use.
•
The battery charger measures the amount of charge in the batteries as soon as it starts char-
ging. Should any of the batteries be unsuitable for charging (e.g. short circuited or misaligned)
the LED on the charger will flash.
1. Insert the batteries (1-4 LR6/LR03) into the battery charger.
2. Make sure that the polarity is correct, as shown on the bottom of the compartment.
When charging LR03/AAA batteries, first fold down the converter in the upper edge of the
compartment and then insert the batteries. The charger automatically adjusts to the correct char-
ging current for the type of battery. Never charge LR6/AA and LR03/AAA batteries in the same
charger at the same time.

3. Connect the charger to a 100-240 V wall socket.
The charger will recognise at once which voltage is being used. If you are abroad, a special
adaptor plug might be needed (not included). The red LED will light when the batteries are being
charged.
4. When the batteries are fully charged, the LED goes out. The charger automatically switches
over to maintenance charging and the batteries are now ready for use.
5. Disconnect the charger from the wall socket and remove the batteries from the charger as soon
after charging as possible. Do not leave the batteries in the charger for longer than 2 days.
Neither should you leave batteries in the charger when it is not connected to the mains.
6. To charge more batteries, repeat the process from step 1.
