Fit speakers where required, run wires back to the location of the head unit.
Run power socket to a suitable point at rear of furniture.
Join head unit to the power and speaker wiring via the white plastic multi-connector.
Plug power lead into the power input socket and transformer to mains socket.
Check power to unit - Standby\Function button on head unit should glow blue, now in
standby mode.
Press Standby\Function button briefly to switch system on.
Current function will be indicated by the 2 red LED tights at top of head unit to show either
Bluetooth or Aux input modes.
In Bluetooth mode, if LED is flashing the unit is now discoverable ready to be paired with
phone or tablet. If Bluetooth LED is lit constantly then it is already paired with a known
device.
To connect your device via Bluetooth: scan for new devices and look for device name BT-
3086, select pair with device (Some phones require you to make then 'visible' to Bluetooth
devices before searching) You phone or tablet will show as connected and the red BT LED
on the head unit will stop flashing.
When connected via Bluetooth use the Play\Pause button to play or pause current track.
To skip to next or previous track when connected via Bluetooth tap the volume up button
to skip forwards, volume down button to skip backwards.
To adjust playback volume press and hold either volume up or volume down button until
desired volume is reached.
Tap the I\O button to toggle between Bluetooth and Aux inputs.
To use the Aux input, use the supplied lead to connect to your device (games console,
laptop etc).
To charge your phone or tablet device connect via USB socket on front of unit, charging
function remains active so long a unit is connect to mains, when on or in standby mode.
