Step 1
Secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling using expansion bolts and nuts. Use appropriate anchors for the ceiling
material.
Expansion Bolts and Nuts
NOTES:
•
If installing on raked ceiling, make sure the lug in the mounting bracket is on the high side towards the highest point
of the roof. If lug is on the low side, the fan will not hang properly.
•
Plasterboard cannot hold the weight of a ceiling fan alone. A supporting beam such as timber between two ceiling
joists or beams is necessary.
•
A 2.3M clearance is recommended from the floor to the blades.
Step 2
A) Lift cover on top of ceiling fan motor and loosen screws until they are out of sight from downrod holder. Remove the
safety bolt and pin from coupling.
B) Install canopy over the downrod. Insert wires and safety cord through downrod and insert into the top of fan
coupling. Align the holes in downrod to match holes in downrod holder.
C) Insert safety bolt and secure with washers and cotter pin. Tighten the two screws firmly to ensure the most stable
installation.
WARNING: Failure to tighten downrod as described above could result in the loosening or falling of the fan.

Note: The Ceiling Fan must be installed by a licensed Electrician. Ensure the power is switched off before fitting this ceiling fan.
