5.3. RI N SE

After doing a WASH of the filter and before returning the equipment to filtration,

it is advisable to run a RI N SE to prevent the first quantity of w ater that is still

cloudy from going directly into the pool. To do this, w ith the pump stopped, put

the selector valve on RI N SE. Start up the pump and run it for about a minute.

Al w ays check the w indo w of the selector valve to ensure that this is the correct

time, since it depends on the amount of dirt accumulated in the filter.

5.4. CIRCULATION

When you put the selector valve in this position, the w ater from the pump w ill

circulate directly to the pool w ithout passing through the filter.

5.5. DRAI N

If the pool does not have a drain in the bottom, it can be emptied using the filter

pump by putting the valve on DRAI N . To do this, open the valves of the sump and

close those of the skimmers and pool cleaner.

5.6. LOCKED

This position blocks the entry of w ater into the

filter.
