1. The vane damage and problem.
A
1) When the vacuum pump operates, the
vane comes in and out along rotor cutting
crack as sticking to the inside wall of a
cylinder because of centrifugal force.
2) During operating, if the oil is contaminated
by the moisture inflow or oil oxidation, it
will cause some damages to the inside wall
(A) and the front of a cylinder because the
lubrication action malfunctions.
3) When the vane passes through the inside
wall of the damaged cylinder (A), it will
make some rolling sound and will worsen
the vacuum pressure dramatically.
4) If keeps working in this condition, the vane
will be broken by frictional force.
Speaking of the oil circulation type vacuum pump,
the management of oil is very important. Then, the
regular management is necessary for a malfunction
prevention.
When the vacuum pump operates inhale, expansion,
compression, exhaust(4 step processes),
it collects more than 99% of the smog in the
exhaust filter produced by the compression process.
However, some smog will be evaporated or will be
oxidized, therefore the regular maintenance is
important.
If the oil has only been refilled, it will cause some
side effects such as a pipe clog because of the oil's
increased viscosity. Therefore, the regular
replacement of the oil is recommended.
