System Upgrade
The System Upgrade option allows the TerraMiner's firmware to be upgraded. Download the latest
firmware file from the Support section of the CoinTerra website to a location on your computer. Do not
extract the .tgz firmware file once downloaded. Mac users should
Download Linked File As... to save the firmware file without automatically extracting it.
You can verify the integrity of the file by comparing its
firmware download page with an MD5 utility on your computer or online at http://md5online.info. If the
checksum does not successfully verify, re-download the firmware from the website and verify it again.
Do not install a firmware download if its MD5 checksum does not validate
correctly and never install any firmware obtained from a source other than the
CoinTerra website.
Click on the
System Upgrade
Select the firmware file to start the upgrade process. When the firmware has been upgraded the
TerraMiner will automatically restart after one minute.
Do not disconnect the TerraMiner from the power source while the firmware
upgrade is in process. Doing so may render the TerraMiner inoperable. If power
is lost during a firmware upgrade, it may be possible to recover it with a factory
restore (see the
Web Panel Configuration
The Web Panel Configuration section is where the Admin Password is set. Choose a password and click
on Apply. To clear the password, click on Apply with no password in the text field.
If you lose the password, you can perform a factory restore in order to regain access to the TerraMiner's
control panel (see the Factory Restore section for instructions.)
