Sekur
EsCAPe
is
a
respiratory
protective
device
for
self-‐rescue
constituted
by
a
filtering
device
with
hood
for
escape
from
fire.
This
device
is
designed
to
be
used
by
an
instructed
and
trained
user
in
escape
from
an
environment
where
typical
contaminants
in
event
of
fire
are
present.
Its
time
duration
is
15
minutes.
The
device
doesn't
protect
a gainst
a
d eficiency
o f
o xygen
i n
t he
e xternal
a tmosphere.
Warning:
To
use
Sekur
EsCAPe
the
concentration
of
oxygen
present
in
t he
e nvironment
h as
t o
b e
n ot
l ess
t han
1 7%
b y
v olume.
The
e quipment
i s
a n
h ood
w ith
f ilter,
a
m outhpiece
i n
b lack
E PDM
a nd
a
c lip
n ose
c ontained
i n
a
p ackage
c reated
t o
b e
s tored.
The
presence
of
mouthpiece
provides
a
good
adaptability
to
different
facial
characteristics,
the
use
by
operators
with
a
very
small
mouth
is
not
r ecommended.
T he
f unctionality
o f
d evice
i s
c losely
r elated
t o
t he
ability
of
the
user
to
firmly
bite
the
mouthpiece,
and
its
use
is
therefore
not
suitable
for
who
those
have
this
capability
impaired.
A
child

u se
t he
d evice
o nly
w ith
t he
s upervision
o f
a n
a dult
p erson.
The
device
is
available
in
a
paper
box
containing
this
manual
of
instruction
f or
u se
a nd
m aintenance,
o r
w ith
a
w all
c lip
e quipped
w ith
a

o f
t he
m anual
f or
e ach
d evice.
In
event
of
fire
the
operator
can
easily
perform
the
following
operations
i llustrated
i n
