SECTION F: SAFETY APPROVALS AND CLASSIFICATIONS
F-1 UL-913 Intrinsically Safe Certification
The AMPTEC 620LK meter is independently UL-
913 approved as an intrinsically safe apparatus for
use in Class 1, 2, 3, and 4, Division 1, Groups A, B,
C, and D locations from temperatures -20° C to 50°
C. This certification was gained in 2013, and is
maintained with quarterly inspections by an
independent party.
AMPTEC also follows UL-913's quality standards
plant-wide, including the adoption of a quality
manual, policies for non-conforming parts, policies
for personnel, and many more.

F-2 MIL. STD. 810 MTD. 511 Certification
The AMPTEC 620LK meter is MIL. STD. 810 MTD.
511 approved for use in explosive and volatile fuel
environments.
