2 Heavy soil button
By pressing this button, the machine will take in cold
water only on programmes with a water temperature of
95°, 60° and 50°C (programmes A-B-C-J).
These would normally be hot and cold, or hot fill only.
The water is then gradually heated to the required
temperature.
The effect is to improve the overall wash performance,
particularly on biological stains such as eggs, blood and
grass stains, and heavily soiled fabrics, since the longer
«cool-soak» phase as the water heats up provides the
right conditions for the powder and the water
temperature to interact, and achieve the best possible
results.
3 Half load button
Select this button to reduce water consumption on the
rinse cycle when washing a half load of cottons or
linens (maximum load size = 2.25 kg).
The machine will perform 3 rinses instead of 4.
4 Rinse Hold button
Press this button to make the machine stop with water
in the drum after the synthetic or delicate wash cycles.
This prevents any creasing which may occur if the
clothes are left damp in the drum. When it is convenient
for you to empty the machine, simply press this button
again so that the machine can proceed to drain and spin,
or turn the dial to the drain programme "R".
If this button is not activated, the washing programmes
will end with a short spin.

5 Economy button
By depressing this button prior to selecting wash
programmes A, B and J you will obtain a reduction of
the wash temperature from 95°C to 60°C and from 50°C
to 40°C . The duration of the programme will not alter.
This will ensure a substantial saving in electricity
consumption. It is advisable to use Economy when
washing fabrics which are lightly soiled.
6 ON/OFF button
By depressing this button the machine starts operating.
When depressing it again, the machine stops.
7 Mains-on light
This light illuminates when the machine starts working
and goes out when the ON/OFF button is release.
8 Programme selector dial
Turn the dial clockwise to select the required wash
programme.
Before setting the dial to any position the machine must
be switched off by depressing the ON/OFF button.
