standstill.
• Never hold the workpiece
inone hand a nd
the router inother when i nuse. Always clamp
the material and hold the router securely
with
both hands.
• Never use bits that have a cutting d iameter
greater than t he opening inthe base.
• After changing
the bits ormaking any adjust-
ments, make s ure t he collet nutand any other
adjustment
devices are securely tightened
be-
fore using t he router.
• The direction offeeding the router into the
material isvery important
and itrelates tothe
direction ofbitrotation. When v iewing t he
router from the top, t he bitrotates clockwise.
When the router islocated between your b ody
and the material, the feed direction must be to
the right, lfthe material
islocated between
your
body and therouter, then thefeed direction
must betothe left.Feeding the router inthe
wrong d irection causes the cutting edge o fthe
bittoclimb out o fthe work and pull t he router
inthe direction of this feed.
• Double Insulation [] is a design concept
used i nelectric power tools which e liminates
the need forthe three w ire grounded
power cord
and grounded
power supply s ystem. It is a

inthe material. The b it's cutting edge may g rab
the material causing the router togetoutof
control. Always hold t he router with two hands
during s tart-up. The reaction torque o fthe
motor can cause the router totwist.
• Always make sure t he workpiece
isfree from
nails a nd other foreign objects which c an cause
the bitand router tojump and damage
the bit.
• Always wear safety goggles. If router has a
removable
chip deflector,
keep itinplace w hen
routing.
• Never touch t he router bitorother moving
part during u se. A fter u se the router bitistoo
hot t obetouched
bybare h ands.

ofthe system a nd should beperformed
only by
