INSTALLING YOUR WALK-THRU GATE:

STEP 1:

Start by placing your gate in the opening that you are closing o .

ATTENTION:

If the opening you choose has molding near the oor, be

sure to move the gate up above the molding so that the gate is installed on a

vertically even surface.

STEP 2:

Determine if the provided extension panel is necessary for proper

positioning of the gate. The gate should t loosly with at least a ngers distance between

the gate and the wall on either side. (see page 4 for extension assembly instructions)

NOTE-

The gate must be installed level to the ground and perpendicular to the wall, for the

door and locking mechanism to function properly. The gate's locking mechanism will

not work properly until instalation is complete. Locking devices on this unit are designed

to work only after the gate has been properly installed.

STEP 3:

Once the gate is in place, tighten the 4 pressure mounting knobs

by turning the two halves in opposite directions. Ensure that you extend

each knob equally to create a rm pressure connection between the wall

and your gate.
