When using electrical appliances, in order to reduce the risk of fire, electrical
shock, and / or injury to persons, basic safety precautions should always be
followed including the following:
•
Carefully read the manual and keep it for future reference. Familiarise yourself
with the operation of the Heated Blanket and how to use it.
•
Connect the Heated Blanket only to sockets with the voltage indicated on the
rating plate (AC only).
•
The product can be
reduced physical, sensory, or mental abilities, or a lack of experience and/or
knowledge, provided they've been supervised or instructed on the safe use of
the product and understand the potential dangers.
•
Please be particularly careful when using the product near children. Don't allow
them to play with the product. Additionally, don't allow individuals who aren't
familiar with the product to use it without prior instruction.
•
This product must not be used by individuals who are sensitive to heat (e.g.
danger of unnoticed burns). Nor by those who wouldn't be able to react to
overheating (e.g. physically restricted individuals who wouldn't be able to free
themselves).
•
Children under the age of 3 years must not use this product, as they are unable
to react properly to overheating.
•
Inspect the Heated Blanket regularly for signs of wear, tear, or damage.
Do not use it if you spot any of these. Instead, contact a qualified
technician for repairs.
•
If the power cord of this product is damaged, it should only be replaced
by a qualified technician to avoid danger.
•
Do not use the Heated Blanket in combination with other heating devices.
•
Turn off the control panel before inserting or removing the plug. Always remove
the cable by pulling the plug and not the cable.
•
The blanket must always be used only in the fully spread condition.
•
Do not switch the power on if the blanket is wet or folded.
•
Do not leave the product unattended during operation. Turn the switch off and
remove the power plug when the Heated Blanket is not in use or before cleaning
it.
•
When storing, fold or roll neatly and without sharp bends in the heating wire. Do
not store other items on top of this blanket. Only store when the blanket has fully
cooled.
