(A) Note the cylindrical lithium-
ion battery location.
Avoid damaging the battery
while opening the battery
compartment of the product.
(B) Carefully remove the battery which
is held in place by double-sided tape.
Carefully clip the metal strip extending
from each terminal.
Place electrical tape over each
terminal and around the cell, as shown
in (C) below.
(C) Removed battery shown.
Dispose of the cylindrical lithium-ion
battery and the remainder of the
product in accordance with local
regulations.
