commands to your external components

If you still cannot control your external components
successfully, you may need to con-
nect an external IR emitter (available from Bose) to the IR EMITTER jack on the rear
panel of the media center.
Reposition the TV on/off detector on the back of your TV.
Verify that the TV on/off detector is working properly by choosing TV Status in the
Settings (I'V) menu. When you turn on your TV, the status line that reads, "Detected TV
Power: Off" should change to "Detected TV Power: On".
