Proper use

❐ This product is suitable for use as a neck pillow!

❐ The product is designed for private use and is not intended

for commercial use. Only use the product as instructed. Any

other use is deemed improper.

❐ Defects caused by improper handling, damage or failure to

observe the care notes are excluded from the warranty. This

also applies to normal wear and tear.

Safety notes

❐ ATTENTION: Danger of suffocation exists! Keep the product

and the packaging material away from children and animals.

❐ ATTENTION: Swallowing batteries poses a risk of death!

Therefore keep the batteries and product out of the reach of

children and animals. If a battery has been swallowed, you

must seek immediate medical attention.

❐ Before inserting the batteries, check that the contacts in the

product and on the batteries are clean and, if necessary,

clean them.

❐ Use only the battery types speciﬁ ed in the technical data.

❐ Always replace all batteries. Do not use different battery

types, brands or batteries of different capacitances. When

changing batteries, ensure correct polarity (+/-).

❐ Remove the batteries from the product if they are empty or if

you are not using the product. This way, you can avoid dam-

ages attributed to leaking.

❐ If a battery has leaked, avoid contact between your skin, eyes

and mucous membranes and the battery acid. In the event

of contact with the battery acid, rinse the affected areas in-

stantly with plenty of clean water and immediately consult a

physician. Take any leaking batteries out of the product im-

mediately. Clean the contacts before you insert a new battery.

❐ The batteries may not be charged or reactivated using other

means, they may not be disassembled, disposed of in ﬁ re,

immersed in liquids or be short circuited.

❐ Do not subject the product to extreme temperatures, severe

changes in temperature, direct sunlight or moisture.

❐ Maintain adequate distance to heat sources such as stove-

tops, ovens, ﬁ replaces or burning candles.

❐ Do not allow the product to fall and do not subject it to severe

percussions.

❐ Only use the product in enclosed areas.

❐ Ensure that the product can not get wet or fall in water. Do not

wash the product in the washing machine!

❐ If the product is defective, do not attempt to repair it yourself.

ment.

Start-up

1. Unpack all parts. Check the product contents for any damag-

es from transport. Should you identify any transport damag-

es, do not use the product (!), instead please promptly consult

the customer service.

2. Remove the battery transport guard as follows: open the zip-

per on the side of the neck pillow, remove the battery com-

partment and remove the small plastic strap from the battery

compartment. Put the battery compartment back into place

afterwards and close the zipper.

Inserting/removing batteries

1. Open the zipper on the side of the neck pillow.

2. Take out the battery compartment.

3. Open the battery compartment and insert 2 x 1.5 V batteries

of type AA. Make sure the polarity (+/-) is correct.

4. Place the cover back on the battery compartment. It must

audibly lock into place.

5. Put the battery compartment back into the neck pillow and

close the zipper.

6. Change the batteries as soon as the output of the LEDs be-

gins to diminish.

Use

1. Place the neck pillow around your throat.

2. You can ﬁ x it in place using the snap fastener on the front of

the pillow.

3. To activate the LED lights, push the On/Off switch on the front

of the neck pillow once.

4. To deactivate the LED lights, push the On/Off switch on the

front of the neck pillow again.

Cleaning and storage

Ensure that the product can not get wet or fall in water. Do not

wash the product in the washing machine! Brush the product

off with a soft brush. If necessary, remove any stains using a

damp cloth!

Store the product in a dry area that is out of the reach of chil-

dren and animals and that is not exposed to direct sunlight.

Disposal

Dispose of the packaging material in an environmen-

tal-friendly manner. It can be recycled. Make it available

to the collection service for recyclable materials.

Dispose of the product in an environmentally-friendly

manner. The product does not belong in the household

garbage. Dispose of it at a recycling centre for old elec-

tric and electronic equipment. For more information,

please contact the administration in your community.

Batteries must be removed and disposed of separately

before disposing of the product. To protect the environ-

ment, batteries and storage batteries may not be dis-

posed of together with normal household waste. Instead

they must be turned in at appropriate collection points.

Please also observe applicable statutory provisions reg-

ulating the disposal of batteries.
