INSTALLATION
Sharp edges! To avoid injury, wear safety gloves and
glasses to install liner.
1. Refer to the fireplace installation manual for removal
of the Barrier and Glass Door assemblies prior to
installation of the porcelain liner kit.
2. Remove decorative media from Hearth and burner cover.
3. Carefully unpack the black glass liners, verify that
all components are included, and inspect for hidden
damage, prior to installation.
4. Remove the front glass retainer (Hearth Ledge) by
lifting it up and out, then set it aside.
5. Install the two Side Glass Panel Brackets at the front
left and right side openings of the firebox with two
5/16 X 1/2" screws each. These brackets must be
installed so the "U" shape breaks are facing forward.
See Figures 1 and 2.

6. Place one of the long Rear Glass Panel Brackets at
the back of the firebox and on top of the stainless steel
burner cover screen, then center it left to right. Place the
bracket against the rear wall with the long flange (with
holes) extending down behind the burner cover screen.
NOTICE: The two hand bend tabs located at each end
should be pointing upward at about 90 degrees.
7. Place one piece of insulation against the right side of
the firebox. Fold the 14-1/2" high piece of insulation
over on itself so the cut edges are toward the front of
the fireplace. When overlapped, leave approximately
a 5 to 6" difference between the front edges. Prop the
insulation against the side wall so the front edge is 2 to
3" from the front face of the firebox. See Figure 3.
