Warranty Information

This equipment is sold by CONTROLS CORPORATION OF AMERICA under

the war ran ties set forth in the fol low ing para graphs. Such warranties are

extended only with respect to the pur chase of this equipment directly from

CON TROLS COR PO RA TION OF AMER I CA or its Authorized Distributors as

new mer chan dise and are extended to the ﬁ rst Buyer thereof other than for

the purpose of resale.

For a period of one (1) year from the date of original delivery (90 days in cor-

rosive service) to Buyer or to Buyer's order, this equipment is warrantied to be

free from functional defects in materials and workmanship and to conform to

the de scrip tion of this equip ment contained in this manual and any accompa-

nying labels and/or inserts, provided that the same is properly operated under

con di tions of normal use and that regular pe ri od ic maintenance and service is

performed or replacements made in accordance with the in struc tions provided.

The foregoing warranties shall not apply if the equip ment has been repaired:

other than by CONTROLS COR PO RA TION OF AMERICA or a des ig nat ed ser-

vice facility or in accordance with writ ten instructions provided by CON TROLS

COR PO RA TION OF AMERICA, or altered by anyone other than CONTROLS

COR PO RA TION OF AMERICA, or if the equipment has been subject to abuse,

misuse, neg li gence or ac ci dent.

CONTROLS CORPORATION OF AMERICA's sole and exclusive obligation

and Buy er's sole and exclusive remedy under the above war ran ties is limited

to repairing or replacing, free of charge, at CONTROLS CORPORATION OF

AMERICA's option, the equip ment or part, which is reported to its Authorized

Distributor from whom pur chased, and which if so advised, is returned with a

statement of the ob served deﬁ ciency, and proof of purchase of equipment or

part not later than seven (7) days after the ex pi ra tion date of the applicable

warranty, to the nearest designated service facility during nor mal business

hours, trans por ta tion charges prepaid, and which upon ex am i na tion, is found

not to comply with the above warranties. Return trip transportation charges for

the equipment or part shall be paid by Buyer.

CONTROLS CORPORATION OF AMERICA SHALL NOT BE OTH ER WISE

LI A BLE FOR ANY DAMAGES IN CLUD ING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: IN CI DEN-

TAL DAM AG ES, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR SPECIAL DAM AG ES,

WHETH ER SUCH DAM AG ES RESULT FROM NEG LI GENCE, BREACH OF

WAR RAN TY OR OTHERWISE.

THERE ARE NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES WHICH EX TEND

BE YOND THE WARRANTIES HERE IN ABOVE SET FORTH. CON TROLS

COR PO RA TION OF AMERICA MAKES NO WARRANTY OF MER CHANT-

ABIL I TY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE WITH RESPECT TO

THE EQUIP MENT OR PARTS THERE OF.
