Standard large capacity battery provides more than a full day of use
run a full business day from a single charge. The seperate dual battery charger can be lined up so that up to 6
batteries can be charged with one AC-adaptor.
Large and high resolution VGA LCD for superb display clarity
allow developers to design applications for a wider display. The back-
light uses LEDs to reduce power consumption and improve the resistance
to harsh impacts. Finally, because the screen uses a transflective LCD it
provides high visibility in both indoor and outdoor environments
whatever the lighting conditions are.
Expansion capabilities via CF card and SD card slots
The IT-10 has both a CompactFlash and SD slot
concealed under a robust, removable cover. The
area around the slots has been designed to
include screw holes to allow extended covers to
be securely attached. This means that wireless
communication cards with antennas can be
incorporated. The CF slot is capable of supplying
up to 1 A of current which means it can easily cope
with specific demands of wireless communica-
tion cards. The SD slot supports "SDIO NOW!" so it cannot only be used for memory cards but also bar code scanner,
camera and Wireless LAN cards if necessary. With integrated Bluetooth® and 802.11b available as standard on the
IT-10M20BR model the IT-10 is truly one of the most versatile rugged PDAs in the market.
The IT-10 has a fine 3.7 inch transflective
TFT color LCD which is capable of display-
ing full VGA resolution (640 x 480). This is
4 times the number of pixels of conven-
tional QVGA screens and makes the IT-10
ideal for displaying web based applica-
tions which contain detailed images. The
screen displays conventional QVGA
applications without modification so
you can continue to use software origi-
nally developed for less
technically advanced PDAs.

The removable, rechargeable Lithium
Ion battery pack has a capacity of
2,300 mAh providing up to 27 hours
of continuous use (not including
wireless LAN use).
