4. Connect the SD1000's power cord and slide its power switch to the ON position.
5. Install and launch the ParaniWin application on the computer. Upon launching the program, a
dialog box titled UART Setting will appear, prompting you to specify a number of parameters, as
shown in Figure 2, below. Configure the device as follows:
• Set the Serial Port to the appropriate setting, as determined in Step 3, above.
• Set the Baud Rate to 9600.
• Set the Parity None.
• Set the StopBit to 1.
