WARNING:

Do not cycle tool without fill bottle (745263) or the screw and stat-o-seal, installed in tool head. Severe personal injury

could result.

WARNING:

Use CAUTION when removing screws & fill bottle (745263). Hydraulic oil may be under pressure.

CAUTION:

Before filling handle assembly (722132), air piston assembly (704121) should be all the way down.

CAUTION:

When forcing piston rod assembly (731333) downward, with head cylinder (735098) removed, hydraulic oil will eject forcibly

from handle assembly (722132).

CAUTION:

When bleeding tool, ensure tubing is free from kinks or other obstructions.

Note:

•

Fill bottle (745263) (sold separately) is required.

•

To replace a small amount of oil in the tool, cycle tool to rear position, disconnect air & follow steps 6-17 below.

10. Carefully remove button head cap screw (402482) and stat-o-seal (S572) from hole stamped #2

under pressure) and attach fill bottle (745263) to hole stamped #2.

11. Tip tool in all directions slightly while squeezing fill bottle (745263). Continue until no air rises in fill bottle (745263).

12. While tool is on its side with bleeder screws facing up, remove fill bottle (745263) and replace button head cap screw (402482) and

stat-o-seal (S572) into hole stamped #2 and torque to 35 - 40 inch lbs. (3.95 - 4.52 Nm). Do not over tighten.

13. Connect tool to air supply and cycle tool ten times.

14. Using a pair of calipers, check tool for full stroke (1.135") (28.8 mm) using instructions a thru c and diagrams below.

a. With the actuator lever assembly (704343) released, check dimension "A".

b. While holding actuator lever assembly (704343) in, check dimension "B".

c. Subtract "A" dimension from "B" dimension.

15. If Dim "A" does not check full forward (.185

seal (S572) from hole stamped #1 and attach fill bottle (745263).

16. Remove button head cap screw (402482) and stat-o-seal (S572) from hole stamped #2. Insert a 1/4" Allan wrench in back of piston

(735107) and manually push the piston (735107) full forward until dim "A" checks correct.

17. Remove fill bottle (745263) and replace both stat-o-seals (S572) and button head cap screws (402482) into holes stamped #1 and #2.

18. Stroke should now be consistent within 1/64" (.0156).
