WARNING: NEVER ATTEMPT TO SPRAY UNLESS YOU ARE WEARING THE CORRECT SAFTEY EQUIPMENT SUCH
AS APPROVED RESPIRATORY MASK AND EYE PROTECTION.
•
Some specialized paints require specialist respiratory protection.
•
Always consult the paint manufacturer's instructions.
•
Mask all areas that are not to be sprayed and ensure that surrounding equipment are covered from
overspray.
•
Ensure that the material as well as the area in which you will be spraying is clean and dust-fee.
•
For the best results, the surface to be sprayed must be well prepared.
•
Connect your air hose to an air supply (compressor), the spray gun can then be connected to the hose
coupler.
4.3.3 HANDLING
•
Proper handling of the spray gun will help you achieve the desired paint coating.
•
Hold the spray gun perpendicular and in an upright position with the spraying area and then move it left to
right parallel to the spraying area several times appropriate distance of 150 – 300mm between the gun and
spraying area
•
Note that the stroke should be started before the trigger is pulled and the trigger should be released before
the stroke is ended.
Note: It is recommended to add a mini filter below the gun to trap moisture build up. Moisture may enter
the nozzle chamber and severely affect the paint coating finish.
Recommended to use Air Craft SG F01 mini filter and SG R01 inline regulator
MAINTENANCE
5.
• Clean the spray gun immediately after each use, by unscrewing and disassembling the air cap, fluid
nozzle or paint needle.
• Use a brush with thinners to clean the air cap, fluid nozzle, and other parts.
• To flush the material-conveying parts of the spray gun, depress the gun trigger until all material
traces are removed and the gun is thoroughly cleaned.
• Never soak the gun completely.
• Thoroughly clean parts, ensuring the removal of all paint and dried material.
• Empty the paint cup and clean cup with some thinners. Afterwards fill the cup with thinners, spray
thinners to thoroughly flush out passage-ways.
• Inadequate maintenance of the hose can result in hose leakage, bursting and other failures, which
can cause serious injury or property damage.
• Use a "tooth pick" or similar soft material to clean out clogged nozzles and rinse out properly with
suitable solvent or thinners. Blow the components with air to dry-clean.
•
Lubricate all working points with spray gun lube.
Warning: Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in serious injury
