This care caller system is designed to assist the caregiver In
monitoring patient activity. lt is seleclable for LOW or HIGH
hom sound and comes with a Flashing Strobe. Selectable Off
position when not in use. Unit has Aux. out (2.5mm jack, nor-
mally open) forAutomatic Voice Dialer connection. When
setup the patient will trigger an alarm by pressing the red but-
ton or pulling the "Pull for Help' cord on a TR-100 pendant
transmitter (not included) or perhaps stepping on or off a sen-
sor pad (not included) triggering the Extended range transmit-
ter- TR-300 (not included). The pendant is water resistant and
can be wom 24 hours a day. The sensor pads are also water
resistant and come with a five y€ar guarantee. The transmitter
has long-lasting lithium batteries that will not need frequent
replacement. Vvhen activated the transmitter will send a signal
to the enunciator and the alarm sounds and the strobe flash-

to sound until reset button is
pressed by Caretaker, assuring Help Has Arrivedl
The sound is silenced by the caregiver pressing the reset but-
ton on the enunciator aftetthe sensor condition is returned to
normal.

Step 1.
OK,let's begin by establishing where we should best place
lhe enunciator.
Keep in mind the enunciator has two sound levels- low and
high. Also remember the transmitter range will be dependent
to some degree on the structure of th6 residence. Also, you
will need to place the unit within reach of an electrical outlet in
order to plug in the adapter.
The Enunciator may be placed at Nurse
S-tation, desk, on counter, nightstand, wall
mounted or outside (covered). The caregiver
should also considerwhere he or she might
frequently be to be within sound of the enun-
ciator when it alarms.
