Select an outdoor location away from other light sources at night, such as street lights which may
cause the product not to turn on automatically at night.

Duration of light depends on solar product's level of sunshine exposure, geographical locations,
weather conditions and the hours of daylight.
MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLESHOOTING:
1.
Make sure the switch is set to "ON" position.
2.
Keep the solar panel clean.
3.
If solar product does not light up after it has been used for around 8 – 12 months, replace the
rechargeable batteries as they may be weak or worn out. (Battery 1pc "AA" 1.2v 600Mah, Ni-MH,
Rechargeable– Same equivalent type as recommended must be used).
Care and Maintenance Recommendations
1. Clean solar panel with a soft sponge every couple of weeks.
2. Make sure all connectors are still tight and no water getting in.
3. During the winter if you can bring it inside and give a good clean ready for next year.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT:
Step1: The battery compartment is located underneath the solar panel. Remove battery compartment cover
by using a small Phillips head screwdriver (not included) .
Step2: Remove the exhausted battery and install 1pc new AA rechargeable battery according to the polarity
symbol indicated on the battery compartment. Open the compartment carefully and ensure that welding
wires inside the battery terminals are not damaged.
Step3: Replace battery compartment cover, screw it back into position and make sure it is properly sealed.
BATTERIES
Keep batteries away from children and pets.
Do not mix used and new batteries.
Remove the batteries if left for long periods.
Never dispose of batteries in a fire.
Battery disposal, spent or expired batteries must be properly disposed of and recycled in compliance
with local regulations. For detailed information, contact your local authority.
Follow the battery manufacturer's safety, usage, and disposal instructions.
DISPOSAL
