• Learn 32 infra-red remote controller commands e.g. Power

On/Off signal, Vol+/Vol-, etc. which can be activated via an

X10 transmitter.

• Blast out pre-programmed infra-red commands when

activated.

• Can be used to control most air-conditioners or other

infra-red appliances.

• Up to 16 unique X10 addresses can be assigned to this

controller; allowing different air-conditioner, fan-coil units,

or curtain motors, etc., to be controlled individually.

• Easy set-up and operate.

Set-Up

Preparation

• Press and hold the "Setting Button" for 5 seconds until

both the "Red" and "Green" indicators flicker together

indicating that the #3011 is in the programming mode.

Programming the X10 Address

• Transmit an X10 address e.g. 'C1 On' to #3011E and

when "Red indicator" turns on, the X10 address has been

programmed into this unit.

Programming IR commands

• Learn the first IR commands e.g. 'Volume +', by pointing

and pressing the original IR remote in front of the

#3011E. When "Green indicator" turns on, the first IR

commands have been programmed and you can now

learn the second IR command e.g. 'Volume –' in the

same way. This two IR commands will be associated with

the X10 address set. For example, 'C1 On' will trigger

'Volume +' and 'C1 Off' will trigger 'Volume –".

• Both the "Red" and "Green" indicator flicker together

again, you can start to program the next pair of X10

address and IR commands in the similar fashion.

• For example, transmit the next X10 address, C2 (to

control Channel+ and Channel-).

• When the "Red Indicator" turns on, you have

programmed the 2

X10 address, and you can now

learn the Channel+ IR command.

• When the "Green Indicator" turns on, you can learn the

Channel- IR command, etc.

• C2ON will now transmit the Channel+ IR command and

C2OFF will transmit Channel-.

* The controller will exit the programming mode after

30 seconds automatically or by pressing the "Setting

Button" once.

* You do not need to program all 16 X10 addresses at a

time, and you can replace the programmed X10

addresses simply by overriding it.

Deleting individual IR command

• Press and hold the "Setting Button" for 5 seconds until

both the "Red" and "Green" indicators flicker together

indicating that the #3011 is in the programming mode.

• Transmit an X10 address e.g. 'C1 On' to #3011E. If this

X10 address has been previously programmed into the

#3011E, the Red and Green Indicators will lit up

alternatively twice and thereafter, the Red Indicator will

remain ON.

• Press the "Setting Button" to delete the 1st programmed

IR command.

• When the "Green indicator" turns on, press the "Setting

Button" on again to delete the 2nd IR command.

Erasing All Memory

• Press and hold "Setting Button" for 14 seconds to erase

all pre-programmed commands.

• Both "Red" and "Green" indicator flicker together once at

the 5

second. Continue holding the "Setting Button"

until both the indicators flicker again at the 14

Applications

• Turn on your air-conditioner using X10 commands via your

mobile phone while on your way home (Requires the

#5000 or #5010 Telephone Responder.)

• Save energy by regulating the air-con in your house using

any X10 compatible programmable controller.

• Can also be use to turn On/Off any other infra-red

appliances e.g. curtain motors, overhead projectors, etc.
