Adjusting the limit switches

The Auton lift utilizes limit switches to control your preferred positioning of the unit.

The limit switches are located on the motor. Depending on the model you may have either a red or blue

limit switch motor head.

MOTOR

Using a power tool to adjust the limits will void the warranty.

The #1 screw controls the up travel.

The #2 screw controls the down travel.

Turn the #1 screw clockwise (-) to

the #2 screw clockwise (-) to decrease the down travel. Turn counterclockwise (+) to increase the down travel.

Before decreasing "up" or "down" travel, run the lift in opposite direction for approximately 6" and stop.

* If positioning requires more than 5 cycles of the lift, the built-in thermal overload protector will disable the motor to prevent

overheating and possible damage. The unit will automatically re-set itself within 10-15 minutes.

Red Motor Head (Model PL-3)

Limit switches are preset at factory

but may be changed.

Two (2) adjusting screws for the limit switches

are located at the right hand end of the motor

while facing the front of the unit.

Using a power tool to adjust the limits will void the warranty.

Turn the #1 screw clockwise (+) to increase the down travel. Turn counterclockwise (-) to decrease the down travel.

Turn the #2 screw clockwise (+) to increase the up travel. Turn counterclockwise (-) to decrease the up travel.
