Connections: Make all proper connections before putting the WT-250-Wireless-System
into operation.
o Connect the Omni-Directional antenna to the transmitter. The Antenna should
remain vertical and at 90 degrees to the ground.
o Connect the WT-250-Wireless-System (transmitter) DB-9, Serial RS-232 cable
to either the computer DB-9 Serial RS-232 connection
o Plug the WT-250-Wireless-System (transmitter) into a standard 120VAC wall
outlet using the 9VDC @ 1.11A Wall Adapter, 2.1mm coaxial plug with 6ft cord.
The Red power LED will light.
o Setup the EZ-Time software and computer or setup the DC-GPS-MI (see separate
instructions)
o Send data to the WT-250-Wireless-System (transmitter) and observe the LEDs.
They will; light as follows:
 Green LED = Data-in from host
 Yellow LED = Data-Out
 (3) Green LEDs are RSSI (signal strength)
 Mounting: Mount the WT-250-Wireless-System (transmitter)up high and so that the
Omni-direction antenna (provided) remains vertical and at 90 degrees to the ground.
The transmitter should have in clear view or best view of the devices that are reliant
upon it for data. In many cases the WT-250-Wireless-System (transmitter) can be set
on a desk near the EZ-Time computer or near the DC-GPS-MI. Always test the
mounting location site for best and most reliable data transmissions before
permanently mounting the transmitter.
 Note: Obstructions will reduce and or entirely block data transmissions from reliable
getting to the dependent devices.
 Note: Before permanently mounting the WT-250-Wireless-System (transmitter) set it
up at a temporary location to check the for proper data reception at the dependant
devices.
