Electrical Work
THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE GROUNDED
1. A standard electrical power plug must be sited close to the fireplace.
Ensure it is in reach of fireplace power cord. Always ensure that it is
possible to remove the fireplace at a later date, if required. DO NOT
INSTALL THE FIREPLACE WHERE THE HEATER IS DIRECTLY
ABOVE THE PLUG SOCKET. The heater outlet is located in the
centre at the base of the fireplace box.
2. If the power supply is required to be concealed this can be sited
adjacent to the right hand side of the appliance or behind the face.
3. If the power supply is damaged in any manner it MUST be replaced.
4. Do not connect the fire box to an extension cable
5. The fire must not be modified from the manufacturer's specification in
any way and the appliance must only be used for the purpose
recommended by the manufacturer.
6. If the fire box shows any signs of damage it is important that it is
examined by a qualified person.
7. Please observe these instructions as failure to do so may result in
electric shock or other injury.
8. Check the technical specification.
9. Always ensure that all electrical work complies with the relevant
Building Regulations and the Electrical Code of Practice. All electrical
work should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
10. Should you have any questions or concerns contact your supplier or a
qualified electrician.
