INSTALLATION & SET UP

Select the appropriate mounting option for your speciﬁc

installation, and mount the speaker in the desired

location.

HABITAT speakers are hardwired with 2 metres of

weatherproof cable. The cable can be routed through

a wall for connection indoors, or alternatively to a

suitable waterproof junction box (or similar) for an

external connection to the system speaker cables.

Please ensure that your ampliﬁer is turned off before

connecting the speakers, and ensure that correct

polarity is observed.

In either stereo or multi-channel systems, HABITAT

loudspeakers are designed to be used in conjunction

with a subwoofer so the full frequency image can be

heard - this is especially important with the Micro

HABITAT variant.

When using HABITAT speakers, you must employ

a suitable crossover or ﬁlter to ensure that only

frequencies of 80Hz and above are sent to the

loudspeakers.

Attempting playback of lower frequencies can cause

permanent damage to the loudspeaker and invalidate

the warranty.

for more detailed set up instructions.
